Lush Bath Bomb Mini Haul and Reviews

Hello everybody! Since I have been trying to do more of a variety of blog posts, I thought that it would be fun to buy some bath bombs from Lush and review them for you guys. There is no Lush store near where I live, but luckily I had some gift cards from Christmas I could use. I have been planning this post for a while now (I bought all of these before Valentine’s Day) so I’m not sure if Lush is currently selling all of these bath bombs I purchased, but most of them probably aren’t limited to holidays/seasons. Let’s get into this post!

The first bath bomb I purchased is the Dragon’s Egg Bath Bomb. I wanted to try it out because the name of it suggested that it would have something inside. It appeared to be white with bits of color sticking out. It has a really, sugary sweet smell like candy. At first I was wary because I tend to not like super sugary scents, but once in the bath this was incredible.

Inside this bath bomb was a beautiful orange color, which is what color my bath turned. The sweet sugary scent kind of reminded me of a childhood candy, like Pez or pixie stix. The bath bomb also made the water have subtle gold shimmers in it. The sweet candy-like scent was actually incredibly relaxing, and the bath color was gorgeous.

The second bath bomb I got is Tisty Tosty. This is a white heart-shaped bath bomb with flowers in it. I believe this came out around Valentine’s Day, but I’m not sure if it is still being sold or not. This has a very perfumey, floral scent. I would almost describe it as reminding me of the stereotypical grandmother, but not in a bad way, almost comforting and relaxing. This is a pretty subtle bath bomb, it doesn’t turn the bath any colors, it just has a very soothing relaxing smell to it so if you’re not a fan of the glittery, colored baths then this might be better for you.

The third bath bomb I got was Intergalactic. I had seen so many great reviews about this bath bomb, so I really wanted to try it. It’s a shimmery blue color with yellow and pink streaks running around it. This bath bomb is unscented, which is only a tad disappointing because the stunning color makes up for it. This turned my bath into a beautiful, shimmery, sapphire blue color. It’s extremely pretty.

The 4th bath bomb I got was Sakura. This is a white bath bomb with a floral scent, but it is not quite as perfumey as Tisty Tosty, it’s more natural and fresh. It has these little blue, green, and pink things in it that look kind of like poprock candy,  I was a bit disappointed in this bath bomb, because it didn’t have any color, and unlike the Tisty Tosty bath bomb, the scent was so subtle you could barely smell it.

The last bath bomb I got was Guardian of the Forest. It’s just light and dark green. It’s incredible, because this smells exactly like the forest. It has a rainforest-esque, refreshing, plant-like smell. It’s also not very subtle, but I like that because it’s a very relaxing scent to me. This tunred my bath a gorgeous shimmery, emerald green color.

That’s all for today’s post. I hope you enjoyed it, and see you next time!

Back to School Mini-Haul| Clothes + Makeup

Hey everybody! Sorry I haven’t posted for a while. I had a post ready for last Saturday or Tuesday but I couldn’t finish it because I had a YouTube video I made but it took too long to upload. So I haven’t posted in quite some time. Anyways, since I’ve started school, I’ve been very busy and I’ve been thinking about only posting once a week, probably on Saturdays. I want you guys to know that I will be extremely invested in my blog, I just need some time to get other things done. Now I went back to school shopping today and I wanted to show you guys what I got. I didn’t get that much, just some things that are school appropriate and things that I needed, but I thought that I should show you anyways. Let’s get started!

CVS Pharmacy

This may seem like a weird place to shop, but this is where I get most, if not all, of my makeup. It’s affordable and they have a wide selection of brands and beauty products.

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara, $10

Sorry about the lighting in this picture, it’s kind of weird but the mascara bottle is metallic light pink.  Anyways, I got this mascara because Maybelline has some of the best mascaras I’ve ever used, and I’ve heard lots of good things about this one plus I don’t like large mascara brushes, and this brush looked nice for me. Another great thing is that this is a volumizing mascara, which is something I love.

I had a coupon for a free Elf cosmetics product with a value of three dollars or less, so I got this brush for free. I got this for my liquid foundation, so it’s easier for me to apply rather than using my fingers. I also went for this one because Elf products are extremely cheap and reliable.

Maybelline Master Glaze Blush Stick in Make a Mauve, $10

I got this because I love this color for the fall time. I’m not sure if it will look great on my skin since I’m kind of pale, but it’s something new for me to try out. Also, I feel like I need to try out new products so I can see what I like, and I figured that since I’ve never tried anything like this, I could find my new favorite thing.

Rimmel London Kate Moss Collection lipstick shade 80, around $8

This lipstick was something that I pinned on Pinterest quite a few months ago because I thought that it would be a nice pink-nude color for me. It is very nice, more pink than nude, but it works on me.

Loft

Loft is a bit more grownup and expensive than where I usually shop, but they have nice things there, so I got just a couple things this time.

Gold Rose Quartz Necklace, $35

This is a very nice necklace. It has a small part that has some little gold “dots” that goes over the collarbone area, and then has some chains that hang down over the chest/upper stomach area. It’s a great way to dress up an outfit or give it a bit of spice.

Black Floral Cami, $25 (Buy one get one free)

I thought this would be cute for school under a little cardigan or something for warmer fall weather. I mostly got it because these were buy one get one free, and my grandma got a different one for free.

Charlotte Russe

I like some things from this store, but I absolutely love their denim. Each pair of jeans is generally around $35, but I wait until they have a sale to buy some.

Pale Pink High Waisted Jeans, $35

(Buy one get one for $12.50 all denim)

Sorry for the lighting in this picture, for some reason it got weird but these jeans are much lighter in real life than in this picture. I got these because I saw my friend wearing a really cute pair of jeans colored similarly to this, so I wanted these. I wanted them to be regular jeans and not high waisted, but these were the only ones they had.

“Push Up” Legging Jeans

Since they had a sale, I got these for pretty much half off. I needed mor plain blue jeans, and these fit nicely with a little bit of growing  room. I think that these are push up for your butt to make it look better, but that doesn’t really matter to me because it’s hard for me to find good fitting jeans anyways.

Papaya Clothing

I love this store because their clothes are super cheap but very  good quality.

Pink Lace Back Cardigan, $13

Again, sorry for my weird lighting today. This is not this shade of pink but it’s close enough. I got this from the last chance rack, it was the last item. I got this because I thought it would  be cute to put over a dress or something that isn’t quite school compliant so I can wear it to school.

Cropped Gray Black Mesh Stripe Sleeve Sweatshirt, $11

This is another item I got form the last canned rack. It was the last item too. It is a couple sizes too big for me, so it’s not as cropped as it’s supposed to be, but it’s still cropped. I like the slightly athletic look.

Brooklyn athletic super soft 3/4 sleeves shirt, $16

To be honest, this is not something I would normally wear. But once I felt how soft it is, I fell in love.  This is way softer than a lot of sweaters and even blankets that I’ve ever felt. The only reason I bought this was because of how soft it is.  I think this will keep me really warm during fall time.

Cropped Thin Red Sweater, $13

I like how simple and nice this piece is. This is easy to match with in fall and winter. They had a couple of other colors like gray and white, but most of my closet is gray, black, and white, so I thought I would try a little more color.

That’s all for today’s post. I hope you guys enjoyed it, and I’ll see you next time!

Summer Haul 2015🌞

Hello guys! I have been accumulating lots of clothing so I could do a haul post, and now I have enough so I’ll show you everything I got. Let’s get started!

Ross

 Sperry Boat Shoes- $40
A lot of people my age have these, so I wanted to try them out but the originals are $60 and I think that’s a lot to pay for a pair of shoes. So I saw these in Ross and I tried them on. These are so comfortable and they’re nice for walking. I knew that even at $40, it would be worth it.

Blue and White Patterned Pants- $8
These are so cool and boho-looking! When I first saw these, I was skeptical about them because I thought that I might not wear them. But once I felt them, I knew I had to get them. These are super soft, and when you wear them it’s like you’re wearing pajama pants all day. Also, these pants do not overheat you so you can wear them even on hot summer days.

Blue and white “we live by the sun, we feel by the moon” tank top-$12
I mainly got this tank top to match the pants above since I don’t really have anything that matches them. But this is a very cute tank top so I know I can wear it with other things.

Black tie-back crochet bottom tank top- $10
This is a nice, kind of thin tank top that is great for summer. I wouldn’t normally wear dark colors in the summer time but I thought the crochet detailing at the bottom of this was super pretty.

 Black crop top- $6
This is just a simple black crop top. I needed one of these since I don’t have very many plain-colored shirts and I wanted something like this to wear with the skirts I have. Plus the fabric of this is soft and thin so I won’t get overheated in the summer.

Pink sheer scalloped tank top- $10
When I first saw this, I loved the color of it but I wasn’t really looking for anything like this. Then I saw the scalloped details on the bottom and back, and I am obsessed. I don’t know why, but I think scalloping looks really cool.

Black and Bronze Patterned Pants- $6

I mainly got these because I loved the blue and white pants so much. (Same with the next pair of pants) But the color scheme of this is cool looking, plus I love the pattern.

Navy and Dark Pink Patterned Pants- $6
I really like the colors in these pants too, and the stripes are cool.

TJ Maxx

Black Large Flower Lace Skirt- $15

I got this skirt because I don’t have any skirts that I can wear to more formal events, and I don’t want to wear dresses all the time or to have to wear black pants during the summer time.

Blue Bodycon Skirt- $7

This was kind of an impulse buy for me, but I love this blue color. Also I think this looks very vintage and 80’s inspired and the 80’s is one of my favorite decades.

 Black sheer cutout shirt- $13
This shirt has sheer sleeves, and a slight sheer v-neck, as well as a sheer stripe at the bottom. I really like types of clothing with interesting features like this.

 Heathered Gray Oversized T-Shirt- $7

I mainly got this so I would have something to match with the blue skirt, but I think this would look cute on a more casual day too.

Kohl’s

Black Caged Back Bralette- $10

I love bralettes this time of year. I think they look cute under sheer tops or tops with thin straps that you can’t wear a normal bra with. Also, I think the back detail on this bralette is so cool looking.

 Black-trimmed gray t-shirt- $5
Like I said before, I need more simple shirts, so I grabbed this one because it was cheap, and I wear these colors often.

Kmart

Tropical Hawaii Crop Top- $15

I stopped in Kmart really quickly, so this is the only thing I got. I had seen this previously, but I wasn’t sure if I wanted it. But this time, since I am obsessed with tropical prints, I had to get it. Also, I think it looks like something you would see on Tumblr.

That’s all for this haul! I hope you guys enjoyed it. Comment down below if you guys would like a part two to this summer haul. See you next time!

Spring Haul 2015 Part 2: Target, Ross + More!

Hi guys! I’ve been shopping quite a bit recently and I’ve accumulated a lot of clothing I wanted to show you guys. Today is Part 2 of my Spring Haul 2015! Here is Part 1 if you haven’t seen it already:

https://nicolefemme2000.wordpress.com/2015/03/15/spring-haul-2015-pacsun-kohls-and-more/
And now, here is Part 2!
Target

Clothing:

Purple and Black Bikini Bottoms: $18

I got these to go with the bikini top that I showed in the Part 1 of the Spring Haul 2015. Here is the top:

Black and Gray Sports Bra: $15

I got this sports bra because I don’t really have any sports bras. This also looks super comfortable.

Black knee-high socks: $3

I know I can’t really wear these in spring, but I don’t have any of these so I knew I needed them for the winter.

Orange Pretzel Socks: $1.50

I love pretzels, and I thought this pattern was adorable so I had to get these socks.

Gray Cactus Socks: $1.50

I put this sock in my hand so it was easier to see because these are so cute!  I love these socks.
Shoes:

Brown Ankle Booties: $22 on sale

I really needed brown boots and when I saw these I fell in love with them. They are great for almost any time of the year, and they match a lot of stuff.

Floral Bow Flats: $18 on sale

These are perfect for spring time, with the cute bows and the floral pattern. Plus they were on sale!

 Black Elastic Platform Sandals: $23

I really like platform shoes, and I’m not exactly sure why. These are nice, modern shoes you can wear with pretty much anything. And these may look like they hurt, but they’re surprisingly extremely comfortable.
Beauty:

Covergirl TruBlend Concealer: $8

I ran out  of concealer, and the brand I normally use was it of the color I needed, so I just bought this similar one. I hope it works just as well!

Elf Eye Primer and Liner Sealer: $3

This is a unique product. I was only looking for an eye primer, which is what one side is, but the other side is special. The other side has a product which basically converts any eye shadow into something like liquid eyeliner. I think this is super cool, and I’ll definitely use it all of the time.

Elf Lip Exfoliator: $3

This is something I’ve been looking for for a while. This product basically takes all of the dead skin off of your lips. This is helpful if you want to wear lipstick but your lips are too chapped.
Others:

Blue Beach Towel: $13

Gold Candleholders: $1 each

I got these to hold some of my candles that don’t have any protection so I could burn them safely.

Charging Cord: $5

I had to get his because my phone’s charging cord frayed and almost stopped working.

Shoe Storage: $12

I got this because now I have too many shoes to fit in my closet so I needed more storage.
Kmart

Black Cutout Romper:  $15

I love rompers, and I think the little cutout in the upper stomach area makes this so much cuter. This was so cheap, and it matches a lot as well.

Flower Crop Top: $10

I am obsessed with crop tops, and I like shirts with flowers on them as well.  (The words on the shirt is the flower’s name)

Rose Gold Sandals: $10

Metallic sandals are so stylish this season, and I love the color of these. They look super nice, but they were cheap.
Ross

Black Skinny Jeans: $7 on sale

I had to get these jeans because I grew out of my old pair of black jeans. Plus these were amazingly cheap.

Black Horoscope Tank Top: $10

I really like the look of this tank top. It’s also very soft and comfy.
TJ Maxx

White Super High-Waisted Scalloped Shorts: $15

I’m in love with the scalloped edge on these shorts. I also like how these go up super high to go with shorter crop tops you might have.

Sheer Striped Tropical T-Shirt: $15

I like the unique look of sheer stripes throughout the shirt. I think it’s a creative way to stay cool on hotter days.

Mesh Embroidered Red Flannel Shirt: $15

I think the panels on the shirt are super special. I have never seen anything like this. I also just love flannels so I think this is perfect for me.
That’s all for Part 2 of my Spring Haul 2015! I hope you guys enjoyed it, and see you next time!

Spring Haul 2015! Pacsun, Kohls and more

Hey guys! I’ve been waiting a while and collecting clothes for this post and I finally bought enough and I can’t wait to show you! I love doing hauls and showing you guys what I got. So let’s get right into it!

Kohls:

Black Tropical Lace Bralette- $20

I love the pattern on this! I think that it would be super adorable to wear under low-cut tops or tops with large armholes.

Cream and blue sheer sunflower tank- $13

I love the colors of this, plus the sunflower pattern. It has a nice vintage feel that I really like.

Blue tie-dye high-necked crop top- $12 on sale, originally $40

I love the colors and the tie-dye look of this. I’m also obsessed with crop tops and I think this would look great with light-wash high-waisted shorts in spring or in the summer.

Black floral and pink reversible racerback cami- $8 on sale, originally $38

I absolutely love how this is reversible! I love both sides of this, and since it’s reversible, it’s more versatile for me which makes it more worth buying.

Black mesh paneled leather skirt dress- $17.40 on sale, originally $58 This dress came out last fall, and I was in love with it but it was way too expensive. Then I saw it when I was shopping and it was on clearance so I knew I had to get it.

Target:

Light-wash ripped straight-leg jeans- $20

I have been wearing the heck out of these the past few weeks! These are my favorite pair of jeans for the springtime and they match a lot of things! I would definitely recommend these to someone who is looking for good quality ripped jeans.

Black floral sheer lace crochet top- $18

I love how boho this looks! This type of style is really trendy this spring and summer. I like to pair this with the ripped jeans shown above for an edgy twist.

Camo pocket tee- $13

I got this because for some reason, I feel like I need something camo in my closet; I don’t really know why. I also needed more simple tees so I figured this one is great.

Racerback gray insect cami- $10

I don’t really know why I got this. The insects are kind of cute and this was cheap so I just bought it. It would also make a good workout shirt.

Black strappy-back bikini top- $15

Target always has amazing swimwear, and when I saw this top it was live at first sight. The straps give it a nice, unique look and black is so easy to pair different bottoms with. Plus, this fit me perfectly so I knew I had to get it.

Pacsun:

White floral cross strap back crop top- $12

I perused the buy one, get two free rack in Pacsun again and it was definitely not a mistake! (The next two items were free because of this rack.) I found this beautiful crop top, with a cute criss-cross strappy back that I love.

Black and white daisy print scoop neck crop top- free

The neckline on this crop top is sort of low, but the pattern on this is super cute and I love it.

Peach drop-waist sheer tank top- free

I love the color of this, and the drop-waist detailing was a nice girly touch. I will wear this all the time this spring.

Vans:

Purple and orange Galaxy unisex vans- $50

This is my big splurge, but I love Galaxy stuff and vans. Galaxy is very in style right now. I get lots of compliments on these (most of them are from guys!). These are super cool tennis shoes that I think everyone should have.

That’s all for this haul! I hope you guys enjoyed it, and see y’all next time!
